Suggestions for what to wear and bring:

Clothes to wear for a photo shoot. Consider plain color shirts. (IE: white, blue, red), blue jeans or black pants, comfy shoes or even go barefoot.

Know for sure the must have shots you're going to want. These can include Grandmother and you, a special tree, etc.
- Bring any items you will want to see in the photo shoot. Items can include, but are not limited to: blankets, special jackets, flowers, etc.
- If using a Church or Wedding Chapel for your photo location, be sure to discuss with the owners to determine what items can or cannot be moved.

Waterloo Lake Park:
Waterloo Lake, Denison, TXWaterloo Lake Park in Denison, TX is nestled in a wooded residential area off of Crawford St. and Loy Lake Road. The park has a walking path with connecting bridges around the lake with many unique natural features which will make for great shoot locations. The lake was at one time the water supply for Denison, plus a stopping point for the Butterfield Stage coach in the late 1800's and early 1900's. It has since been turned into a public park. To the southeast of the park is a paved walking track with an equal amount of "photogenic" natural features.
Herman Baker Park:
Picken's Lake, Herman Baker Park, Sherman, TX
Herman Baker Park is located in Sherman, TX. It is West of town off of Highway 56 near FM 1417. The park features a wooded area as well as a walking track around Pickens lake. Pickens Lake is unique in that it offers multiple landscapes with trees, rock formations and connecting bridges along the walking path.
Fairview Park:
Fairview Park, Sherman, TXFairview Park is a hub of public activity for Sherman, TX. It features a swimming pool with a water park, paved walking track, bridges, and multiple locations to photograph from. It is located at the corner of N. Ricketts and W. Taylor St.
Loy Lake Park:
Loy Lake Park, Grayson CountyLoy Lake Park is in western Denison, TX right off of Hwy. 75 near the Loy Lake Rd. exit (hence the Exit name) This historic lake features a collection of historic homes, called Frontier Village, an iron bridge, water tower, and many other unique options. One point to consider is the West end of the lake near a picnic pavilion which over looks the entire lake. Loy Lake was once a major recreational area for Grayson County.
The Katy Depot:
Katy Depot, Denison, TXThe Historic Katy Depot is located in East Denison, TX right off of Main St. This historic train depot was once a thriving hub for travelers riding on the Katy Railroad. After the Katy Railroad moved out of town, the depot was restored as a town treasure. The Katy Depot features a garden with a fountain. This makes for a beautiful backdrop for photographs.
